Key Responsibilities

UX Vision & Strategy

  1. Define and communicate the UX vision and design strategy for product areas, ensuring alignment with business objectives and product direction.
  2. Set quality standards and design processes, establishing best practices for the team.
  3. Identify user and business needs, proactively anticipating problems and driving innovation in user experience.

Team Leadership & Mentorship

  1. Lead, coach, and develop a team of designers (junior to senior), fostering growth through feedback, regular 1:1s, and project guidance.
  2. Build a collaborative, feedback-driven culture where designers are empowered to take ownership and develop their strengths.
  3. Oversee design reviews, facilitate workshops, and ensure effective cross-team communication.

End-to-End Product Design

  1. Oversee end-to-end product and feature design, from discovery and ideation to delivery and continuous improvement.
  2. Guide the team in framing complex problems, structuring research, synthesizing insights, and translating findings into actionable solutions.
  3. Ensure design solutions are user-centered, inclusive, and scalable across platforms (web, mobile, enterprise).

Cross-Functional Alignment

  1. Partner closely with product managers, engineers, business analysts, and leadership to drive product strategy and roadmap with a design lens.
  2. Advocate for the value of UX within the organization; communicate the impact of design decisions to stakeholders at all levels.
  3. Support product delivery by removing blockers, prioritizing initiatives, and aligning design resources.

Design System & Process Excellence

  1. Lead the evolution and adoption of design systems, frameworks, and guidelines to drive consistency and efficiency.
  2. Establish rituals and processes for knowledge sharing, documentation, and continuous learning within the team

Requirements

  1. 9+ years of experience in UI/UX/product design, including significant experience in a senior or lead role.
  2. Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design, system thinking, and examples of team leadership or mentorship.
  3. Proven experience setting up design processes, design systems, and aligning teams around a common vision.
  4. Skilled in facilitating cross-functional collaboration, resolving conflicts, and building strong partnerships with product/engineering.
  5. Strategic thinker who can connect business goals, user research, and practical design solutions.
  6. Confident communicator, able to articulate design rationale, influence decisions, and present to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  7. Experience with analytics, UX metrics, and data to inform design and measure the impact.
  8. Comfortable working in fast-paced, agile environments with distributed teams.
  9. Fluent in English (written and verbal).

Prefer:

  1. Experience with enterprise, SaaS, or complex multi-role systems.
  2. Previous involvement in hiring, onboarding, or developing junior designers
  3. Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
  4. Hands-on knowledge of HTML/CSS or working closely with front-end teams.
  5. Experience advocating for design at the organizational or executive level
