We are seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer to join our growing DevOps team. In this role, you will support implementing and maintaining the infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines that power all of our company’s projects. You’ll work closely with senior DevOps engineers, developers, and QA teams to ensure reliable application delivery and operations.

As a Junior DevOps Engineer, your responsibilities will include managing cloud resources, assisting with source code integration, automating deployment workflows, and supporting monitoring and troubleshooting efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in DevOps practices to grow and gain hands-on experience with real-world systems at scale.

Responsibilities

1. Assist in managing infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Terragrunt).
2. Support CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
3. Participate in source code repository management, branching strategies, and access control.
4. Monitor application and infrastructure health using observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, etc.).
5. Help troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure or deployment issues as 1st layer of support.

Requirements

Must have

1. Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
3. Understanding of networking basics.
4. Familiarity with Linux systems and command-line tools.
5. Exposure to CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or similar.
6. Familiarity with Git and version control practices.
7. Understanding containerization (e.g., Docker); knowledge of Kubernetes is a plus.
8. Interest in automation and scripting (Bash, Python, or similar languages).
9. Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and grow in a fast-paced DevOps environment.

Nice to have

1. Hands-on experience with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
2. Exposure to application monitoring and logging tools.
